Meet Our Team

In 2005, Sai was founded by Dr. Bhagya Sastri, a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician who has practiced Hospital Medicine in New Jersey since 2001. Although many refer to us fondly as "Dr. Sastri’s Group," our team is a dynamic and diverse set of nearly 30 hospitalists that work together to ensure total and dedicated patient care in the inpatient setting. Through a team of daytime physicians, nocturnists, per-diem physicians, NPs, and PAs, Sai provides stellar care to our patients across South and Central New Jersey.

"Today, Sai has grown tremendously because physicians and patients recognize our uncompromising service; we receive over 30,000 patient visits annually. Sai's reputation for the highest quality of hospital care attracts the best physicians to our mission. We remain an independent group, practicing only Inpatient Medicine. This lets us collaborate with any Family Physician, Sub-Specialist, or Nursing Home to coordinate care for our patients.
